You can find a pub or two on every corner. They are all cheap and all guarantee a good time. Bundy pubs are pretty fun. People love a chat and the vibe is generally pretty chill. Here is a few of my favourites, either because they are fun, nice or just weird. You can work out the vibe out each venue from the description in the pub crawls below.

Top pub

For a true Queensland bar experience The Globe Hotel at Bundaberg North can’t be missed. Amazing bar with a good mix of locals and backpackers (and dogs). No food but you can order pizza from a nearby Italian place and eat it there. Cheap cheap cold beer and I have had some big nights here. One of the few pubs that has original live music nights. I have seen everything from relaxed beach rock through to power metal, keep an eye on their FB page.  Pokie free (I think).

Here are two pub crawls if you have the balls

Small tour

  1. Brewhouse (pizza and paddle of beers)

  2. Old Bundy Tavern (for a whack cocktail)

  3. The Metro (sit watch the world pass you by on Bourbong Street)

  4. The Queenslander (the Bali beer garden with pole and cage must be seen)

  5. The Club (for a bit of dancing)

  6. The Central for the brave (they don’t call it the dirty cenny for nothing) it's a late night other world.

Long crawl

  1. Melbourne Hotel Rum Bar (verandah drinking) or The Globe Hotel (Bundy North)

  2. The Queenslander (the Bali beer garden with pole and cage must be seen)

  3. Brewhouse (pizza and paddle of beers)

  4. Old Bundy Tavern (for a whack cocktail)

  5. The Metro (sit watch the world pass you by on Bourbong Street)

  6. The Grand (pretty old school pub)

  7. Spotted Dog (grown up beer garden recovery)

  8. The Club (for a bit of dancing)

  9. The Central for the brave (they don’t call it the dirty cenny for nothing) it's a late night other world

Baffle Beer

Incredible beer brewed by a German brewmaster that has dropped out to Baffle Creek. Keep those dollars in the local economy and it’s great beer.

Bargara Beer (The Brewhouse)

Bunch of different beers with some local stories surrounding their names. Nice vibe in the Brewhouse. You can spot local hand carved taps behind the bar. And our very famous lungfish (look it up).

Ohana Winery and Exotic Fruits - Childers

Wines, liqueurs and craft ciders. Cellar door in a orchard. Very special.

Kalki Moon Distilling & Brewing

PINK GIN! Go experience.  Very amazing still in a shed. Must try. Tastings daily. Maybe not Mondays.

Rum

You are in the rum capital of the world. Combine our two local best, Bundy Rum and Bundy Ginger Beer and you will feel like a true hero.
